Don to conduct film music concert in Spain
June 2007 - Don will be conducting a film music concert in Tenerife, Spain in June. The program will include The Matrix Symphony, "Neodämmerung" from The Matrix Revolutions, The Warriors of Virtue Suite, and choral and orchestral interludes from Río de Sangre.
Río de Sangre to be read by New York City Opera
May 13th, 2007 - Río de Sangre, Don Davis' opera in progress, will be read in part by the New York City Opera on May 13, 2007 at the Skirball Center at NYU, from 4:30-5:30pm. The performance is free, and part of their VOX: Showcasing American Composers 2007 Festival.
The Good Life premieres at Sundance Film Festival
January 21st, 2007 - The Good Life, the new film by Stephen Berra and starring Harry Dean Stanton, Zooey Deschanel and Mark Webber, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The movie features an original score composed by Don, along with Joel Petersen of the band The Faint
Don scores Ten Inch Hero
January 14th, 2007 - Don finishes work on his latest score for the film Ten Inch Hero, directed by David Mackay and starring Elisabeth Harnois, Clea DuVall, Sean Patrick Flanery, Jensen Ackles, Danneel Harris, Alice Krige and John Doe.
